Picking up from where we left off, Sucre, Michael, Linc, and Aldo are together, with Mahone on their trail. Sara is face-down in the bathtub as Kellerman prepares to dispose of her body. C-Note is in Harvey, North Dakota with Kacee and Dede, who needs her medication. In Tribune, Kansas, Detective Slattery questions Bellick. Michael meets his father and recalls that he met him when he lived with an abusive foster father and Aldo saved him killing his stepfather. The manager of the motel knocks on the door because of the volume of the TV, and Sara manages to escape from drowning and from Kellerman using a heated iron. Aldo tries to explain Michael why he left him and Lincoln; further he tells that Sara might have the tape that can save Michael. Kellerman lures Bill, but he asks a picture of the body of Sara. In Harvey, North Dakota, C-Note is hidden camping with his happy family nearby a lake. In Tribune, Kansas, Bellick is detained by the police and interrogated by the local Detective Kathryn Slattery. Mahone finds the Michael, Lincoln and Sucre; Aldo covers them but Mahone hits him with a fatal shot. C-Note goes to town to buy the medicine of Vanessa and the pharmacist identifies Kacee and she is arrested. Coyote proposes a deal to Mahone in the hospital to deliver Michael. Kellerman tells Bill that Sara escaped from him. Sara is wounded and suturing her cuts. Michael and Lincoln decide to stay and Sucre flies in the flight. Mahone asks to intercept the plane and Michael sees a jet chasing the plane. Bellick is arrested for the murder of Geary. Kellerman unsuccessfully tries to contact President Caroline, but Bill is erasing his existence. Mahone crashes his car against Lincoln's. C-Note's daughter needs her medication, and the family risks their safety visiting a pharmacy to fill the prescription. When Kacee, C-Note's wife, is recognized by the pharmacist and subsequently captured by the police, she drops the medication in a trash can for C-Note to retrieve. In New Mexico, Kellerman continues to torture Sara Tancredi by water boarding her. Leaving her submerged, he pulls out a body bag and hack saw and prepares to murder her and dispose of her body. Distracted by someone at the door, Kellerman is attacked by Sara, who escaped drowning in the bathtub. She whacks him in the chest with a hot iron, and then jumps from the second story of the motel--injuring herself in the process. Kellerman lies about Sara's death, and Agent Kim erases all traces of Kellerman from the government's records. In Kansas, the police investigate Bellick for Geary's death. After avoiding the truth, Bellick explains to the detective that the pair were tracking T-Bag, but fails to mention Westmoreland's money. With Bellick's credit card receipt at the crime scene and the death threat he left on Geary's cell phone, he is the primary suspect in Geary's murder and is placed under arrest. Michael Scofield is upset to learn that Aldo is his father. In a flashback, Michael recalls being abused as a foster child and that Aldo saved him by killing his foster father. It's revealed that Michael's low latent inhibition and sense of familial responsibility was triggered by Aldo's actions, thus leading to Michael's need to risk his own life to save his brother's. The family reunion is interrupted when Agent Mahone fires on the group. Aldo is shot and dies in Michael's arms on the way to the hospital, but not before Aldo tells Michael to track down Sara Tancredi as she may hold the key to resolving everything that's happened. Having buried Aldo along the side of the road, Michael, Lincoln and Sucre head for where the plane will land. Michael and Lincoln leave Sucre at the landing strip, and tell him that they are tired of running. Mahone questions Coyote and learns the location of the landing strip and orders the military to shoot the plane down. With Mahone on their tail, Michael tries to contact Sara on her cell phone. Fighter jets fly over head with sights locked on Sucre's plane. Just as Sara answers her phone, Mahone rams his car into Michael and Lincoln's vehicle. As everyone exits their totaled vehicles, Mahone aims his gun at Michael and Lincoln.

In Gila, New Mexico, Kellerman ties up Sara and resolves to get what he needs from her. Mahone meets Kim for the first time. Bellick receives treatment for the blow to his forehead, and interacts with a local police detective. In Tribune, T-Bag cut off his hand to escape from the police. In Maljamar, New Mexico, Michael does not have enough money to buy a case of fishing reel oil and a GPS, and he robs the GPS. He has a crisis of conscience and confesses his sins to a priest in a church. In Trinidad, Colorado, Aldo tells Lincoln how the interests of the corporation are manipulating the government in a huge conspiracy. When the agent of Bill Kim tries to kill them, Lincoln fights with him and Jane saves Lincoln killing the infiltrated man. T-Bag locates Geary with a GPS in the bag of money in a fancy hotel and he kills him. Kellerman abducts and tortures Sarain a motel room trying to find what her father gave to her; later Bill orders him to kill her. Bill releases Mahone and threatens his son and with Shales case; he accidentally deciphers the code hidden in the name Bolshoi Booze. Michael attempts to lure the smuggler of immigrants Coyote and his gang delivering sugar and water instead of medical nitroglycerin. However, the test the product, finds the truth but Michael is saved by Sucre. Geary has taken off with Westmoreland?s money. T-Bag escapes by removing his severed hand which was chained to the radiator, and he tracks Geary by following a GPS he planted in the money bag. T-Bag follows Geary to a hotel and kills him. Bellick, who is at the hospital after Geary assaulted him, is questioned by local police who doubt some of his story. While left alone, Bellick calls Geary's cell phone and threatens him--only to later learn that Geary is dead. In New Mexico, Michael steals a GPS device and assaults the store owner. Disturbed by his behavior, Michael visits a church to confess his sins. While speaking to the priest, he mentions that when he was a child, he watched a man bleed to death. Using the GPS Michael locates Coyote, a man who smuggles illegal immigrants. In exchange for a plane ride out of the country, Michael must supply medical nitroglycerin. The nitroglycerin is the mysterious item Michael attempted to dig up at the botanical garden when he was almost arrested. Coyote checks the nitroglycerin to verify that it's real, but figures out that it's only sugar water. Coyote's men almost kill Michael when Sucre suddenly appears, shoots a Coyote and saves Michael. Michael and Sucre tie up Coyote?s men and prepare to leave. In a change of heart, Michael unties the men so they can get help for their injured comrade who would otherwise die. In exchange, Coyote tells Michael the location of the plane. At a secure compound in Colorado, Aldo Burroughs informs Lincoln and LJ of President Caroline Reynolds' schemes and machinations as well as her affiliation with The Company. He also tells them that Terrence Steadman is alive, and that Governor Tancredi recently learned that fact and it got him killed. Aldo says Sara Tancredi to the "key to the whole thing." Infiltrating the compound, Agent Kim's men attempt to kill Lincoln, but fail. Lincoln and LJ go their separate way as LJ is sent to safety with one of Aldo's operatives--a woman named Jane. Aldo and Lincoln head for New Mexico to join Michael. When Michael , Sucre, Lincoln and Aldo meet up in New Mexico, Michael is surprised when he recognizes Aldo who left when he was an infant. Having caught up with Sara in New Mexico, Agent Kellerman uses water boarding to torture her to find out if her father shared information with her. When Sara doesn't provide any information, Agent Kim orders Kellerman to kill her. At the factory, Agent Kim frees Mahone from the cage where Michael left him locked up. having lost all of his leads, Mahone is no closer to figuring out what "Bolshoi Booze" means, and Kim threatens Mahone's son in order to raise the stakes. After Kim leaves, Mahone turns the photo of Michael's Bolshoi Booze tattoo upside down and sees that it's a series of geographical coordinates. At the FBI field office, the other agents note that Mahone has cut them out of the loop. Mahone's wife, Pam, calls him and he tells her that he would have done things differently and that he loves her.

Captain Bellick tortures T-Bag for the money during which T-Bag swallows the key and Bellick uses dirty tricks to get the key out.Bellick and Mac leave T-Bag on the boundary of the police.Sarah and Michael Scofield meet,but they are constantly chased by Alexander Mahone.Michael gets close to Mahone's helplessness.Meanwhile Lincoln Burrows and LJ are rescued by Lincon's dad but they are still not shielded from the dirty political games. They soon find themselves in Trinidad, Colorado. T-Bag is tortured by Bellick and Geary in Tribune, Kansas. Maricruz's sister Theresa, in Brooklyn, receives a call from Sucre in Dinosaur, Nebraska. She tells him that she and Maricruz are heading to Ixtapa, Mexico. Sara is in Gila, New Mexico, trying to locate Michael, but Mahone is there too. Kellerman arrives in Willcox, but Kim gives him a new assignment. Bellick and Geary torture T-Bag all night; in the morning, they find the hidden key but T-Bag swallows it. They give laxative to T-Bag and Geary finds the key in the stool. They leave T-Bag cuffed to a heater and call the police. When they locate the bag with the money in a locker in a bus station, Geary betrays Bellick and escapes with the money. Lincoln and L.J. are rescued from the custody of the Arizona's police by Aldo's team leaded by Jane Phillips, who worked with him in the Company, and they are brought to a safe house in Trinidad, Colorado. When Aldo arrives to meet his son and his grandson, one of the agents is actually a man of Bill Kim. Mahone is chasing Michael in Gila, New Mexico; Sara receives a fax from Michael, and when Mahone arrives in the Sundown Motel, he gets the copy from the fax memory and finds the couple in the isolated meeting point. In Dinosaur, Nebraska, Sucre calls Maricruz, but Theresa tells him that her sister will travel with her to Ixtapa, Mexico.

Michael tries to retrieve an item from Blanding Botanical Garden in Utah, but Mahone's people got to it first. Mahone believes that someone on his team is leaking information to the press; meanwhile Michael does some research on Mahone at an Internet caf?, then makes a trip to Durango, Colorado, to see a woman there. Linc and L.J. are on the road in Arizona. C-Note is in Chicago, and Agent Lang tries to use his wife to capture him. Bellick and Geary phone C.O. Patterson, at Fox River, to get information on where they should look for T-Bag. Sara is at a motel in Elgin, Illinois, trying to crack Michael's code. T-Bag arrives in Tribune, Kansas, for (as he puts it) "romance". Kellerman is on the trail of Sara. While trying to retrieve explosives from the Blanding Botanical Garden, Michael is surprised and chased by the FBI. He escapes and discovers that Mahone retrieved his HD from the canal and is anticipating his movements. Michael goes to a cybercaf? in Moab, Utah, and researches Mahone's biography. Then Michael travels to Durango, Colorado, where he lures Mahone's ex-wife Pam pretending to be a FBI agent, and he discovers where Shales' corpse is. In Chicago, C-note meets his gang and collects their debt, plotting a plan to meet his wife and his daughter. Sara finds a clue of Michael's code, but Kellerman is tracking her steps. T-Bag travels to Tribune, Kansas, seeking out Hollander, but she moved from her house; however, he is captured by Bellick and Geary that torture him trying to find where the money is. Lincoln and LJ are recognized by a waitress and captured later in a train station. Still in Illinois, Sara figures out that the name of the rendezvous point with Michael is the Sundown Hotel, so she calls the operator and quickly learns that it's in New Mexico. Using the credit card from the wallet of the dead girl, Sara buys a plane ticket to Albuquerque, and Kellerman and Kim track her moves. Michael goes to a botanical garden and tries to dig up something he has hidden, but barely evades capture by two federal agents. Reporters question Mahone about Tweener's death, but he gives them a, "no comment." Michael uses the Internet to locate Mahone's wife, Pam, and pays her a visit. Pretending to be an FBI agent doing security checks, Michael finds Agent Mahone's cell phone number and discovers the fate of Oscar Shales--namely that Mahone killed him and covered it up. Using Pam's phone, Michael calls Mahone and threatens him with that he knows about Shales' death. C-Note meets with his former associates in Chicago, and tells them they owe him for not ratting them out when he was arrested. They agree to help him get his wife and daughter so the family can go on the run. Agent Lang meets with C-Note's wife, Kacee, and warns that the FBI will arrest her and take her daughter away if she doesn't cooperate in a sting to catch C-Note. Kacee lies and says that the Rainbow Room is really a carousel in the park. At the park, Kacee eludes the FBI and joins C-Note with the help of his associates. C-Note also manages to get his daughter from school before he can be captured. T-Bag, now in Kansas, stashes Westmoreland's money in a locker at the bus station, and then buys some flowers. He heads for the home of his last girlfriend, who sent him to Fox River. His vengeful plan is dashed when he finds a "for sale" sign on the front lawn. Geary and Bellick run across T-Bag at the house, knock him unconscious, tie him up, and torture him to reveal the location of Westmoreland's money. LJ and Lincoln have reconnected but when they stop at a diner, Lincoln is recognized but not pursued. The duo makes their way to a train station in Arizona, only to be identified and apprehended.

Sucre robs all the money from the others at gunpoint and meets up outside with Michael, as planned- but with the wrong bag, T-bag switched them! Mahone is grilled by Internal Affairs. Sarah finds drugs to stage her death at home, but escapes the FBI agent who works for Paul Kellerman- for the moment. LJ is out, but how can daddy Lincoln get to him? Michael and Sucre can't go after the money, the police is pulling all the stops to catch everyone and Sucre falls and gets his leg caught under a log which can only be moved by the river tide, but Michael finds another way and Fernando learns his woman stood the other suitor up at the altar. Still on the run, Sarah works out Michaels coded message. Kellerman awaits Mahone after the final phone-call to get him off, and shows him Michael's origami puzzle which Sarah left. Sucre escapes with the bag of money, but actually it was Michael's plan to lure T-Bag; however they realize that T-Bag switched the bags and they have nothing but old National Geographic magazines. Due to the road block, they try to escape through the river, but Sucre's foot is hold under a trunk of a fallen tree and they need to wait the opening of a floodgate of a dam to raise the level of water and release Sucre. Meanwhile Sara is attacked in her home by a killer from the Company that wants to kill her with an OD of morphine, but she manages to escape through the fire ladder. Later she calls Bruce and a woman is mistakenly taken as Sara in the spot where she was supposed to be and executed; Sara discovers that Bruce is also a conspirator. She takes the documents of the victim, Kelli Foster, and deciphers Michael's message in the origami. However, she recalls that she forgot the last letter in her apartment. The Internal Affairs interrogates Mahone in the Chicago Field Office, disclosing his profile of psychopath. Lincoln heads to Arizona to rescue LJ, but the teenager is under watch of Kellerman's men. T-Bag heads to S. Hollander's address seeking revenge against her betrayal. Bellick and Geary go to Jeanette's house seeking information about DB's money.

Michael's plan has hit a snag when the home owner's daughter, a cop, arrives. Mahone argues with Lyle Sands about how to proceed, but ultimately hopes that Tweener, in FBI custody, will reveal the location of the other escapees. Sara is now suspicious of Kellerman, so he tries something different to find Lincoln Burrows. In an Arizona detention facility, L.J. finds out he's to be released the next day; Linc drives to get him. Haywire, in Wisconsin, steals supplies from a camping shop. Things get more complicated at the house were the cons are digging, but Michael manages to handle the situation. Tweener and Mahone have a little talk about giving the escaped convicts to the authorities, and it is only up to Tweener if Micheal and the others are found or not. Meanwhile, a tragedy hits Sarah and Mahone shows his dark side. Just before the escapees can dig deep enough in the woman's house, she wants them out and her daughter, a cop, enters- Linc disarms her; as T-bag points out, Michael must admit they are now all violent criminals, without a way back ever. Sarah is surprised to hear her father governor Frank Tancredi was made to withdraw his presidential candidature; she finds him hanged but can't believe it was suicide and finds a key. Mahone tries to make Tweener talk by showing him bloody victims pictures: he could prevent the others killing again and escape extra time and even go to a luxury jail- he says the only non violent outcome is if he returns to them; he is wired but goes to ... Linc's son LJ Burrows is released in Arizona after the disappearance of crucial evidence, so he splits to get him. Sucre hears Tweener was caught on the cops walkie talkie, but they find the money. Mahone stages Tweener dead in a gun fight. The policewoman is actually Jeanette's daughter, but she is disarmed and tied to a chair with her mother. Michael promises that nothing will happen to them. The nomination of Governor Tancredi to vice-president is withdrawn and Sara finds him hanged in his home. She also finds a key on the floor. Mahone has a conversation with Tweener, showing the pictures of the first victim of T-Bag and promising a deal to disclose the location of the other fugitives. Meanwhile, LJ receives the release papers from the Klipton Detention Center, in Arizona; when Lincoln sees the new on television, he says goodbye to Michael and tells that he will meet LJ. The escapees find the money, but they are surprisingly betrayed. Tweener finds that Mahone is a psychopath.

Mahone arrives in Salt Lake City, trying to locate exactly where in Utah the escapees are. Michael and Linc hatch a plan with T-Bag and Tweener that will enable them to dig in the right place. C-Note and Sucre meet on the highway and head toward Tooele. Kellerman, in Washington, D.C., briefs Kim. Governor Tancredi phones Sara with a warning. With T-Bag's memorized map and Michael's deductions, the escapees locate the silo where Westmoreland buried the money--only to find the silo has been paved over for a subdivision. But luck is on their side, the foundation of the silo still exists--located under the garage floor of a home owner named Jeanette. In need of supplies, the escapees send Tweener back to the hardware store in town. He procures what they need, but also encounters a friend of the owner (who is already tied up). Tweener knocks out the friend and leaves the two tied up in the back of the store. Mahone has made his way to Utah where he narrows down the location of the money to several nearby towns by calculating the distance from a gas station Westmoreland stopped at several times. Having disabled the electricity, the escapees show up at Jeanette's door and tell her that they are from the power company. T-Bag, useless for digging with his re-attached hand, flirts to distract her. Having traveled to Wisconsin, Haywire visits a blind woman who mistakenly believes he is her son. When she realizes he is not, he leaves and takes an item from her home that fascinated him--a portrait of Holland. In a meeting at the US Capitol in Washington D.C., Agent Kim informs Kellerman that his direct access to the president has been terminated. As Kellerman leaves, Governor Tancredi spots him and realizes something is amiss. Later that day, Governor Tancredi calls Sara. Having seen Kellerman posing as Sara's friend, "Lance," the Governor warns her to stay away from Kellerman. She hangs up just as she runs into "Lance" in the grocery store. Back in the subdivision, the escapees continue to dig. Tweener leaves the house when he remembers that he forgot to put gas in the car. Michael informs Sucre he has a way of communicating while on the run--a message board on a website. Michael checks on T-Bag and Jeanette, only to find them upstairs. The door bell rings, and it's a police officer. T-Bag puts a hammer to Jeanette's throat. At the gas station, Tweener is caught in Mahone's sting. Mahone has captured Tweener.

Michael and Linc arrive in Tooele, but the map they need to locate the double-K ranch is missing. They run into T-Bag and Tweener, who have also come to Tooele for Westmoreland's money. Meanwhile, C-Note makes his way by train toward Tooele. Sucre reaches Las Vegas and attempts to halt the wedding of Maricruz and Hector. Sara invites Kellerman to her apartment, believing he is harmless. At the FBI office in Chicago, Mahone reviews files recovered from Michael's hard drive, and begins to piece things together. While driving to Utah to locate DB Cooper's money, Lincoln and Michael hear a radio report that John Abruzzi is dead. Lincoln wants to pick up L.J. in Arizona immediately and flee to Panama, but Michael insists they stay the course and get the money. Back at the FBI field office in Chicago, Agent Lang tells Mahone that someone matching T-Bag's description has been spotted heading west. In Colorado, Debra Jean and Tweener have spent the night together in a motel room, but Tweener must hide when a police officer knocks at the door. Tweener leaves for Utah, meeting T-Bag along the way. Michael and Lincoln make their way to a county courthouse in Utah to locate a map of the Double-K ranch where the money is hidden. Sucre, meanwhile is on his way to Las Vegas to stop Maricruz and Hector's wedding. Michael and Lincoln must work with T-Bag to get the money. While traveling to Utah, C-Note has troubles in the train and jumps in a river from the moving train. Tweener and Debra Jean Belle sleep together in a motel, and in the morning the girl discovers the truth about him. Michael and Lincoln arrive in Tooele, but they do not find the KK ranch. They seek the map in the local courthouse and finds that the map 1213 of Karl Kokosing is missing. T-Bag meets Tweener, and later he is found by Michael and Lincoln. T-Bag lures the brothers, memorize the map and swallow it, forcing them to accept him. Meanwhile Sucre goes to Vegas and has a great deception with Maricruz. Sara calls her father and asks for forgiveness.
0 Prison Break - First Down - Season 2 Episode 4
Michael, Linc, and Nika are captured by Bellick and Geary, who intend to retrieve Westmoreland's money in Utah. Tweener continues his drive with Debra Jean. Abruzzi is reunited with his wife and children and is set to flee the country with them, but decides to take care of Fibonacci first. T-Bag has a close call with the police at a Nebraska gas station, and then poses as a Marine who lost his hand in Iraq. Mahone waits for confirmation of the deaths of Michael and Linc in the car explosion, and meanwhile gets a lead on one of the other fugitives. Kellerman (posing as a recovering addict named Lance) befriends Sara. Bellick and Geary intercept Michael, Lincoln and Nika on the road seeking the US$ 5,000,000.00 in Utah, and not the reward. Lincoln uses a piece of glass to burst the tire; with a flat tire and no spare, Geary walks to the next gas station to buy a tire and Bellick stays with the fugitives. Nika negotiates a deal with Bellick to turn Michael on and split the money among Bellick, Geary and her. The divers find the damaged HD on the canal and Mahone retrieves partial information about Michael's research. Abruzzi meets his family and he will travel with them to Sardinia; however, Fibonacci is located in a motel in Washington and Abruzzi seeks vengeance first. The sick T-Bag gets a ride with a man called Jerry and his fourteen year old daughter; later Jerry needs to defend his daughter against the pedophile. Tweener and Debra Jean Belle stop in a motel to rest. Sara is in rehabilitation and Kellerman befriends her to keep his eyes on her.

With hospitals and clinics under surveillance, Michael brings Lincoln to Nika's home to heal his wounded leg. Then he returns to the place where he parked his Accord and finds that the car has been towed. Meanwhile agent Mahone retrieves Michael's backpack with his passport from a vagrant that broke the rear window of Michael's car to steal the backpack. Michael goes to Brewster Towing yard to recover his car. Meanwhile Sucre finds that Maricruz will marry Hector in a couple of days and he heads to New York in a stolen car. Sara is arrested and her father visits her, pays her bail and orders her to tell a fake version about the incident in Fox River since he will be the next Vice-President of North America. Later she goes to rehabilitation where Kellerman is pretending to be an addicted patient. C-Note schedules a meeting with his wife, but his conversation is bugged by agent Mahone. Bellick and Geary meet each other by chance and later they team-up to get the US$ 400,000.00 reward for capturing Michael and Lincoln. They go to Fox River and Bellick interrogates Manche Sanchez, who discloses the plan of the fugitives. Michael and Lincoln forge a car accident to escape from Mahone, but they do not see that Bellick and Geary are in their tail.

The F.B.I agent Mahone decides to use L.J to get to Michael and Lincoln by cutting a deal with him and making him trick the two fugitives into revealing their location. Michael and Lincoln decide there's only one thing they can do, rescue L.J in a daring raid at the county jail. Only one problem though, Mahone is personally guarding L.J and won't let him out of his sight. Michael and Lincoln split from Sucre, C-Note and Abruzzi, and plan to rescue LJ from the Cook County Courthouse in Chicago. However, agent Mahone unsuccessfully presses LJ to betray his father and his uncle and make a deal; then he escorts LJ and spoils their plan. Meanwhile T-Bag kills Dr. Gudat after the implantation of his hand, dyes his hair and uses the car of the veterinary surgeon to head to Utah. Tweener pretends to be a college guy and gets a ride to Utah in the car of a student. Warden Pope and Captain Bellick are interrogated in a hearing of a justice commission and Geary denounces Bellick of selling the Prison Industries to Abruzzi; the panel fires Bellick and suspends Pope, who quits his position.

It is the morning after their escape from Fox River, and the inmates narrowly avoid being caught by Bellick as they jump onto a freight train. FBI Special Agent Alex Mahone has been assigned to their case and calls a press conference urging the public to turn in the "Fox River 8." Michael, Lincoln, Abruzzi, C-Note, and Sucre encounter a hunter and his daughter. He holds them at gunpoint until Abruzzi grabs the daughter and forces the hunter to give them his SUV and let them go. The escapees head for a location where Michael has things stored. Agent Mahone tracks Michael's credit card to a storage facility in Oswego, but quickly figures out that one of Michael's tattoos holds the real location. Michael's tattoo "Ripe Chance Woods" is a clue pointing to a cemetery where Michael has items buried in the grave of "E. Chance Woods." Just two steps behind, Agent Mahone arrives at the scene just as the inmates have gathered what they need. In the meantime, T-Bag discovers a veterinary clinic and forces the Vet to re-attach his severed hand. Dr. Sarah Tancredi recovers from her overdose. Inside her purse, she finds an origami swan left for her by Michael with a message, "There's a plan to make all of this right", and a code. The code is a series of numbers which reads 3221243324 for the first line, 4221312231 for the second, and 23133121 for the third. Veronica locates Terrance Steadman in Montana, and finds that the doors are locked from the outside, holding him hostage (albeit willingly). Veronica calls 911, and then talks to Lincoln and tells him what she has learned. Employees of The Company arrive and kill Veronica for having unraveled their plot and for having found Steadman. Lincoln hears Veronica's final words as she dies, and is consumed with grief. Mahone studies Michael's tattoos, and feels that they are the key to finding the escapees.

However, the conspirator uses a chemical that provokes massive cardiac arrest without trace as if it was natural cause. The investigation in Fox River discovers that the infirmary door was left open; Katie is pressed by Pope and she tells him that Sara has a crush on Michael. When the police reach her apartment, they discover that Sara has had an OD. When the fugitives reach the Goose Park, they see the airplane taking off.

Dr. Sarah questions if she should leave a light on and the door open for Michael, who must betray the Pope in order to carry out his escape plan. Veronica finds evidence that points her to Montana, but realizes that her closest ally may actually be her greatest enemy. Michael, Lincoln and the other inmates make a break for it, but after the alarm is sounded, find out who will make it over the wall, who will be left behind and who will leave the prison in a body bag. Michael forces the Warden Pope to transfer Lincoln to the infirmary. Then he gags Pope, ties him to a chair, locks him in a wardrobe and tells his secretary that Pope is calling the Minister of Justice for a long conversation. Michael dresses the jacket and hat of Bellick and activates the fire alarm; his crew reaches the asylum in the confusion. Dr. Sara Tancredi is disturbed and emotionally unbalanced after the revelation of Michael. She wanders in Chicago and decides to return to Fox River and leaves the door of the infirmary open. Nick abducts Veronica and tells her that he is protecting his father; however, he releases her and asks her to travel to Montana. When Nick meets his father in his apartment, one gangster of Abruzzi is waiting for him. The senior management of the Company decides to get rid off Caroline and support another candidate; they ask the assessment of Caroline to Samantha and she tells that the Vice-President is a dangerous person. DB is seriously wounded and he tells Michael where the money is in Utah. Further, he tells that the real amount is US$ 5,000,000.00 and asks Michael to visit his daughter Anna. Haywire surprisingly joins the group in the infirmary.

Westmoreland uses Bellick to plug a hole in the escape plan, which forces Michael to move up the breakout timetable. A fearful Tweener pledges his loyalty to Michael and in return may get out of jail for free; Michael feels that he has no choice but to involve Sara in the plan and must betray his father figure; and Veronica finds her life in jeopardy from her closest ally, who has a surprising connection to a Fox River inmate. When Bellick finds the hole in the storage room, DB hits him with a shovel and drops him in the hole, but is stabbed in the stomach. The P.I. team decides that they need to break-out that night, but the key of the infirmary is still an issue. Meanwhile Veronica discloses that many calls of Quinn's cellular where made from a US$ 2,000,000.00 real estate in Blackfoot, Montana, and she decides to travel to the place to investigate. However, Nick receives a call from Abruzzi and threatens Veronica with a gun. Vice President Caroline Reynolds is pressed by her powerful associates to convince President Richard Mills to refuse the law of alternative energy, but Richards is no longer supporting the corrupt Caroline. Michael decides to ask for help to Dr. Sara Tancredi for his escaping; she becomes disappointed and depressed, and decides to go to a bar in Chicago. When she is near to drink again, she sees that her father will be the Vice in the campaign of Caroline to the White House and she meets him to ask if he read Lincoln's process. Michael in despair uses an unexpected escape plan-B.

After the crash, Kellerman tries to suffocate Lincoln, but he is saved in the last moment by a stranger. Sucre leaves the solitary confinement and Michael tells to his partners that he has completed the map, but he needs the key of the infirmary. Abruzzi is back to Fox River, apparently converted in a religious man. Warden Pope sends Captain Bellick to find Lincoln before notifying the authorities. Nick tries to convince Veronica that they are losing time checking the calls of Quinn's cell phone. Michael kisses Sara and asks her to wait for him. Tweener is in trouble with Avocado and he castrates the abuser. Lincoln sees that the stranger is actually his father, and he explains that he worked for the powerful Company, and Lincoln is a victim of a big plot against him. He had leaked information of EcoField and they used Lincoln to force him to show off. Michaels asks for help to Nika. Veronica finds many calls from Montana. The Vice-President tells her brother that he is alive just because of her, and he replies that he does not understand how they have not killed her yet. Abruzzi meets T-Bag and asks him to forget everything, and they seal truce. Nika seeks out Sara and tells her life and how Michael helped her, but she actually steals Sara's key. A guy sees the Mustang in a junkyard where Aldo and Lincoln are hidden, but Kellerman bugs the conversation and goes to the spot. However, the police arrive and Captain Bellick arrests Lincoln, saving him from Kellerman. Sara seeks her key and recalls her meeting with Nika Volek; she calls maintenance service to replace the lock. Nick works for Abruzzi. Michael invites David and he betrays the plan to Captain Bellick. Lincoln is back to Fox River under 24 hours surveillance. While in transit to see LJ, a truck crashes into the van carrying Lincoln and it sends him rolling from the vehicle. Agent Kellerman arrives at the scene and tries to smother Lincoln, but his father, Aldo Burroughs, rescues him just in time. Aldo removes Linc from the scene of the accident and informs him that everything that has happened to Lincoln is Aldo's fault and The Company is the reason he left his family. Years ago, Aldo was employed by The Company but he left their employ so he could rise the ranks. After he left, Aldo leaked information about Terrance Steadman's dirty dealings. The Company framed Lincoln as an attempt to draw out Aldo. Because of all of the heartache caused by his father's actions, Lincoln finds it difficult to forgive him. Agent Kellerman quickly locates Aldo and Lincoln in the junkyard, just as Captain Bellick arrives. Lincoln voluntarily gives himself up to Bellick and is returned to Fox River and placed under twenty-four hour surveillance. John Abruzzi returns to Fox River following his hospital stay after he was sliced open by T-Bag. He claims to have become religious while recovering and offers a truce to T-Bag. As T-Bag is about to cut Abruzzi again, C-Note stops him and tells him that Abruzzi is their ticket out of Fox River. Abruzzi contacts Nick and reminds him of their deal. To complete his escape plan, Michael needs a copy of the key to the infirmary. Michael asks Tweener for another favor: a bump and swipe to grab Sara's keys. Tweener says that in return he wants Michael to kill Avocado, his cell mate who has been brutally raping him. Michael refuses Tweener's request. Tweener begs Bellick to find him a new cell, but the Captain ignores him. Later on back in their cell, Tweener takes a razor blade and cuts Avocado's genitalia. Michael tries to steal the keys from Dr. Sara Tancredi by distracting her with a kiss. When he cannot do it, he calls his mail-order bride who meets with Sara and snatches her keys. Sara figures out the plot and has all the locks re-keyed. Nick and Veronica have the cell phone LJ stole from Quinn. They notice a number of calls originating from Blackfoot, Montana. Michael asks Tweener if he can trust him. Tweener again turns to Bellick for future protection from Avocado. Bellick demands to know what Michael is up to, and Tweener blurts out that, "Scofield and his whole P.I. crew...they're escaping." Bellick tears up the guard's break room and find the hole in the floor.

Improvising a new plan, Michael seeks out an acquaintance who may hold the key to his escape plan. In gen pop, the other members of the P.I. crew learn that the guards are auctioning Michael's cell to the highest bidder. Lincoln and Sucre devise a scheme to get Michael returned to gen pop. Veronica informs Lincoln that L.J will be tried for his mother's murder, and Lincoln desires to see his son.

Having burned his shoulder, Michael's tattoo that showed the path through psych ward is now incomplete. With another inmate intimidated into snitching about the escape plans, Michael Scofield must use his wits to find a new way out of Fox River. Dr. Sara comes to Warden Pope to show the piece of fabric of uniform that she found in Michael's burnt believing he was tortured by a guard. Pope presses Michael, and without any answer, he sends him to the solitary confinement. Captain Rednick includes the rat David in the P.I. team trying to discover what they are plotting; the group is informed that on the next day, a team of specialist will put the carpet on the floor and they decide that Sucre is the only one capable to escape during the night to close the hole. Meanwhile in the US Secret Service Field Office in Chicago, Kellerman discovers that Lincoln's father belonged to the agency. Nick, Veronica and LJ return to Nick's cottage to get Quinn's cellular, and LJ finds that Quinn wrote "Kellerman o Kravecki" in the well, but he does not disclose the information to Veronica and Nick. LJ finds the address of Owen Kravecki and goes to his house to kill him. Michael has a psychological breakdown in the confinement and is sent to the asylum where he meets Haywire.

T-Bag is in love for Susan, but when she finds that he is a pedophile killer, she denounces him to the police.

The execution of Lincoln is delayed for two weeks because Judge Kessler anonymously receives new evidences about the case, while Lincoln glances to his father in the observation room. Judge Kessler orders the exhumation of the remains of Terrance Steadman based on two different records about a removed appendix. Lincoln asks the name of the man in the room to Warden Pope and he tells that he is the journalist William Prall, from the Headline Press. Michael plots another escape plan through the asylum using the blueprint tattooed on his body. He borrows a guard's uniform from Sucre's cousin that works in the laundry to check his plan, but her burns his body on the steam piping; after a medical intervention, Michael finds that the part of the map with the escape route through the asylum is missing on his burnt back. With his execution just moments away and strapped to the chair, Lincoln spots a familiar face. He attempts to communicate with Michael, who is seated in the viewing room. He wants Michael turn around and look at the man sitting behind him but Michael misses Linc's signal. The execution is surprisingly delayed by the judge, and Lincoln's life has been momentarily spared because the judge ordered the exhumation of the body of Terrance Steadman, the Vice President's brother. Someone dropped off medical records showing a discrepancy--Steadman had a healthy appendix, but the autopsy showed it had been removed. The execution will be delayed for two weeks while the body is exhumed. Lincoln asks the Warden who the man in the viewing room was, and the Warden tells him that he was a member of the press named William Prall. Linc recalls that as a child his father took him to baseball games, and his dad's favorite player was named, "Prall." With the execution delayed, Michael reformulates his escape plan. He plans to use the pipes in the psych ward to reach the infirmary, but his fellow escapees think he's nuts. Proceeding with his secondary, and more difficult plan, Michael borrows a guard's uniform from Sucre's cousin, Manche, who works in the laundry. While returning from the psych ward, Michael nearly gets caught by a guard and accidentally presses his back against some steaming hot pipes as he hides. Michael's back is badly burned, as is the borrowed guard's uniform. Safe back in his cell, Sucre rips the burned uniform from Michael's back, and he passes out form the intense pain. Upon awakening in the infirmary, Dr. Tancredi questions him about how his back got burned but Michael is unable to give her any satisfactory answers. Dr. Tancredi confides to Nurse Katie that she found a fiber from a guard's uniform embedded in Michael's burns. In the meantime, Agents Paul Kellerman and Samantha Brinker view the footage from a security camera outside the judge's office. They see the reflection in the door and know that Michael and Lincoln's father dropped off the autopsy report that delayed the execution. Returned to his cell from the infirmary, Michael grabs a mirror and sees that part of the map of the psych ward has been seared off his back. The escape path through the psych ward is now incomplete.

With the unexpected fail of Michael's plan, the five frustrated inmates return to the storage room. Michael begs Sara to talk with Veronica and Nick first to see the evidences and to ask for clemency to her father. Meanwhile Nick and Veronica appeal in court of Judge Kessler and request an exhumation of Steadman remains. Michael learns that if something goes wrong with the electric chair, the execution is delayed. He uses a rat to short-circuit the electric installation, but David overhears the conversation and rats Michael's talk to Captain Bellick. Sara stays with Lincoln in his cell; later Michael and Veronica have a last meeting with him and he talks with his son LJ by phone. When Lincoln is walking to the electric chair, the governor calls to say that he had reviewed the process and denied the request of clemency. Michael's master escape plan has failed. Michael, Sucre, T-Bag, C-Note and Westmoreland are trapped in the room below the infirmary and Lincoln is waiting one level above them in the infirmary, but the pipe Michael corroded has been fixed. The five escapees cannot get to the infirmary to join Lincoln and continue with their escape from the prison. As Michael fails in breaking the new pipe, a piece of pipe hits the floor and a guard investigates the cause of the noise. The five hide as the C.O. checks out the room, and then flee back to the guard's break room after he leaves. They barely make their return as Bellick checks on their progress with the mold removal. After a tense moment, he sends them back to their cells. Westmoreland explains to Michael that if anything happened to the electric chair during testing , then Lincoln's execution would be delayed by three weeks. Michael ventures back into the walls behind his cell, capturing a rat and short-circuiting the fuses to the electric chair. Over a hamburger and fries, Bellick blackmails Tweener into giving him information--Tweener fesses up that he heard Westmoreland and Michael talking about how to delay Lincoln's death. When the maintenance man discovers the problem with the fuses, Bellick encourages him to look the other way--rather than filing the appropriate paper work that would delay the execution. Michael is surprised when he is given his final visitation with Lincoln-- the execution will not be delayed as planned. The brothers share a game of gin and blueberry pancakes as Lincoln tells Michael to accept the fact that the execution will happen. Outside the prison, Nick and Veronica attempt to delay the execution by appealing to the judge, but are denied. They discuss Lincoln's case with Dr. Tancredi who takes their information to her father, the Governor, and asks him to look at it. As the preparations for Lincoln's execution proceed, Governor Tancredi calls. He will not delay the execution, and has been promised by the Vice President that his actions will be rewarded. Lincoln is taken to the execution chamber, and Veronica tells him she loves him and always has loved him. Michael hugs his brother good-bye as Lincoln faces the execution chair.
0 Prison Break - End of the Tunnel - Season 1 Episode 13
With Abruzzi medevaced to a hospital after T-Bag slit his throat, and Lincoln taken to solitary, the five remaining inmates must figure out what to do about their escape plan. Michael wants to delay the escape until he can spring Lincoln, but the other four want to leave as soon as possible. Following threats from his co-conspirators, Michael decides that they must leave that evening at 9pm. Back in his cell, Michael cuts open his arm and removes a hidden pouch which contains a black pill. He then borrows Sucre's crucifix and hides the pill inside it. With his brother's execution now only 36 hours away, Michael prays with a priest and asks him for a favor - would he mind giving a crucifix to his brother, Lincoln? Lincoln receives the crucifix containing the pill and a note instructing him to eat it at 8:10. When Lincoln does so, he becomes violently ill, and is taken to the prison's infirmary. Dr. Tancredi believes Lincoln suffers from food poisoning. The five inmates use the tunnels beneath the prison to make their way to the infirmary. They arrive at the room underneath the infirmary containing the pipe Michael previously corroded with the chemical compound. The pipe has now been replaced. Michael tries to remove it, and Lincoln helps from the room above. Their attempts are in vain, as the pipe cannot be removed. Michael realizes their escape plan has been inadvertently thwarted. T-Bag pulls a shank on Michael, threatening his life. With the tunnel finished, the team is almost ready to make their escape, but Lincoln has been put in solitary confinement after punching out a guard who was about to discover the hole. Michael insists they have to wait to go through with the escape, but the rest of team is ready to go on with or without him. He comes up with a plan at the last minute, smuggling Lincoln a poison pill that puts him in the infirmary just in time for the other escapees to meet up with him. At the last moment, however, disaster strikes: a workman had earlier discovered the hole in the pipe Michael had been creating, and the bend under the infirmary has been replaced with a new steel section far too strong to remove in time. At the same time, Veronica has decided to go public after getting a call from agent Hale that he's willing to hand over all the information she needs to free Lincoln and blow open the conspiracy. Although she meets with him long enough to learn the shocking secret about the Steadman assassination, agent Kellerman shows up before Hale can hand over the list of names, and shoots his old partner.

C-Note overhears Michael and Lincoln discussing that there are too many fugitives for available time and they share the information with the group telling that one shall be left behind. T-Bag feels threatened and calls his cousin James Bagwell, disclosing the escape plan and asking James to call the Warden Pope in case T-Bag does not contact him later. Abruzzi asks his outside man to kidnap James, but things go wrong and the mobster kills James and his five years old son Jimmy. Abruzzi feels guilty for the death of the child and feels the need of God's forgiveness, but T-Bag betrays Abruzzi like Judas. Meanwhile Veronica and LJ bring Nick to the hospital and while in surgery, LJ escapes to see the funeral of his mother. Daniel Hale sees the teenager in the cemetery but he does not arrest him; later he tells his wife that they should move to West and gives an anonymous call to Veronica scheduling a meeting in the Highland Cafe. Maricruz tells Sucre that she is pregnant but she will marry Hector. Captain Bellick presses David to rat Michael telling everything he says. Michael tests the escape plan and informs the group that they are ready to go that night, but Lincoln was sent to solitary confinement protecting his brother.

As work progresses on the hole, Michael is suddenly called away for a conjugal visit from his wife, who turns out to be following his instructions to bring him a credit card. Although Dr. Tancredi has maintained a completely professional relationship with Michael, she is bothered by the discovery of his marriage. The credit card turns out to actually be an electronic pass card to get him into the storage room where inmate personal belongings are kept. Michael's box contains most of things he had with him, but his gold watch is missing, and it unfortunately plays a key role in his escape. Meanwhile, Quinn the specialist has tracked Nick and Veronica to their cabin, and begins interrogating them to find out who they've told about their research.

Michael meets with Falzone to discuss the whereabouts of Fibonacci. When he tries to negotiate a deal for himself, Abruzzi gets impatient and warns him that Veronica's life will be forfeit if he doesn't deliver the witness' address right there. After the Vice President learns that her agents have been keeping secrets from her regarding their failure to catch LJ, Veronica or Nick, she brings in an outside specialist to oversee their activities. The head agent warns her that she's made a grave mistake, but she brushes off his concerns. When the tunnel work resumes, the crew finds itself with a new team member, as C-note has managed to figure out what they're up to, and wants in on the plan. Michael is pressed by John Abruzzi to deliver Fibonacci to Falzone; otherwise the new P.I. team will find the hole on the floor. With the dilemma of whether a good man should have to die to save his brother, Michael schedules a meeting with Falzone and gives the address of Otto Fibonacci in Canada. C-Note discovers the hole in the storage room and forces Michael to accept him in the P.I. crew. Meanwhile LJ is extremely depressed and Nick has a conversation with him about his father. Vice President Caroline Reynolds brings the dangerous specialist Quinn to supervise the work of Kellerman and Hale, and Kellerman advises her that she committed a serious mistake. Veronica and Nick discover that Ecofield is just a cover, receiving a high budget from the government for alternative fuel research but without any investment, patents or expenses. Further, they listen on television that the Vice-President has a large amount in her funds for her campaign to the White House.

John Abruzzi's boss has grown impatient over the non-appearance of the witness Fibonacci, and has withdrawn financial support from his jailed capo. This, in turn, has led Bellick to remove Abruzzi from work duty, since the guard's monthly payment from Falzone has stopped coming. Without work duty, no more progress can be made on the escape, and the next group to enter the storage room is certain to find the gaping hole in the floor. On the outside, the Secret Service agents are closing in on LJ through his telephone signal, and he inadvertently directs them toward the cabin that Veronica and Nick are hiding in. To save LJ, Lincoln needs to break out. But for that to happen, Michael must sacrifice Fibonacci, an innocent witness, to a ruthless mafia boss. The corrupt Captain Bellick complains with John Abruzzi that his "perquisite" has not been deposit in his bank account. Abruzzi discovers that Philly Falzone, upset for not receiving news about Fibonacci, has stolen all the money that belongs also to him from his bank account using a letter of attorney and he loses his privileges in prison. Lincoln is mad with the situation of LJ, trying to contact him. Seth unsuccessfully asks for help to Michael and without any hope, he commits suicide. Dr. Sara Tancredi discovers that Michael was under psychological treatment and his shrink tells her that he is a creative genius with no sense of self-worth and also a rescuer. LJ succeeds in contacting Veronica and Nick, but his cell phone is bugged. Veronica lures the secret service agents asking Michael to travel to Lake Mercer, near Iowa, while he actually goes to New Glarus.

After the riot, Dr. Tancredi has questions about how Michael knew his way through the prison's crawlspaces. Lincoln, meanwhile, is informed by a visitor that his son's life will be forfeit if he doesn't agree to give up the fight and go down quietly, while At his home, LJ is confronted by the two agents who quickly murder his parents and frame him for the crime. Enraged over the loss of one of the guards, Warden Pope and Captain Bellick begin tossing cells and putting pressure on the inmates to find who the murderer was. As for the escape plan, a snag is hit when the team realizes they need the help of Westmoreland to get them access to a restricted room that happens to be right over the sewer pipe. Westmoreland is reluctant to jeopardize his chance at parole, but circumstances lead him to a decision. Warden Pope asks Captain Bellick to find the murderer of Bob at any cost. Meanwhile Michael needs to access a restricted storage room that is also a private recreation room of the C.O.s, and the only prisoner with free access is DB. As the riot rages out of control, Michael makes his way behind the walls to the infirmary to save Dr. Tancredi. Sucre and Abruzzi continue the drilling work on the wall separating general population from the old sewer line. Lincoln tries to make his way back to general to find Michael, but is ambushed by a killer hired to ensure he dies in prison one way or another. Dr. Tancredi's father, the governor of Illinois, decides to push Warden Pope aside and take matters into his own hands to save his daughter's life. On the outside, Veronica and Nick trace the phone call that reported Lincoln's crime to a pay phone in Washington, D.C., meaning the caller couldn't have been a witness. Their actions have attracted notice, however, and a surprise is waiting for them back at Veronica's apartment. Meanwhile, as Teabag keeps an eye on Bob, the guard the inmates have taken hostage and who has seen the escape hole, anxieties grow over how Bob can possibly be trusted to keep his mouth shut once the riot is over. Turk lures Lincoln and tries to kill him in the basement. Michael rescues Dr. Sara Tancredi and when she asks how he could know the way through the pipe ducts, he tells that he had worked in fungus elimination in that area. Sucre and Abruzzi drill a hole in the wall and access the sewer duct. The arrogant Governor Frank Tancredi of Illinois arrives in Fox River and presses Warden Henry Pope to break-in the A-Bay, using the advice of the disloyal Captain Bradley Bellick. Veronica and Nick travel to Washington DC tracking the phone call that denounced Lincoln to a public phone, and they receive a dangerous menace in the foregoing phone.

Frustrated at the Warden's defiance, the people who want Lincoln dead decide to circumvent the penal process by enlisting an inside man to take Lincoln out himself. Headcounts keep requiring Michael to be back in his cell at regular intervals, and the interruptions are making it impossible for him to finish his work. Sucre tells him that the guards don't bother with counts when there's a lock-down, so he disables the air conditioner circuits on his next trip out. With the temperature rising, the cons start causing trouble, and a lock-down is announced. Unfortunately, tempers have already flared past the boiling point, and a riot breaks out before the cells can be closed. Oblivious to the chaos going on, Michael and Sucre go behind the wall together to work on drilling through one of the last walls to an abandoned sewer line. One guard, escorting Lincoln, gets caught by the prisoners and dragged back to general population. In the course of preparing to torture and kill the beaten man, Teabag (as well as the guard) inadvertently discovers the hole in Michael's wall. As the cliff-hanger episode ends, Michael is caught in a stand-off over who will make it out of his cell alive, while rampaging prisoners in the infirmary are about to break down the door into Dr. Tancredi's clinic.

The Secret Service agents have paid a visit to Warden Pope, pressuring him to have Michael transferred away from his brother. After giving an anguished consideration of the reasons why his past still haunts him, the Warden decides his course of action. Meanwhile, Michael needs another piece of information for his plan to go forward, and he makes an extended trip behind the walls to answer his question: English, Fitz or Percy, which one gets taken out? Paul Kellerman and Daniel Hale blackmail the Warden Henry Pope promising to reveal a dark secret from his past to his wife Judy to have Michael transferred to Statesville. However, Michael uses a motion to stall the process for at least a month and stay with his brother for the next three weeks. Further, he asks his associates what should be selected: English, Fitz or Percy? Meanwhile, Veronica and Nick discover that the surveillance tape used as evidence in Lincoln's trial was forged.

At the same time, Sucre learns that his rival, Hector, has been feeding a line to Maricruz to get her away from her fianc? and into his bed. Sucre realizes that he needs to get back with Michael so he can get out as quickly as possible before he loses her forever. Veronica enlists the help of a specialist in death-penalty cases who agrees to re-examine Lincoln's case, but even he isn't hopeful. Meanwhile, the people who want to see Lincoln executed as quickly as possible do some snooping around Veronica's home and learn of the connection between Lincoln and Michael. Michael foresees the menace of Haywire to his plan: his distrustful cell-mate does not sleep and is obsessed with his tattoos. Meanwhile he obtains two chemicals to corrode the sewer in the infirmary. Sucre discovers that Hector plans to "steal" Maricruz from him and tells Michael that he is in the scheme for escaping. Veronica tells Lincoln that she is his new lawyer and seeks help with some specialists in cases of death-penalty while Paul Kellerman snoops her home and finds the connection between Michael and Lincoln.

Michael convinces John Abruzzi that he won't talk after a torture session produces no information on the whereabouts of Fibonacci. Abruzzi decides to take another tack by cooperating with Michael in exchange for the info, and as a show of good faith he takes Tea Bag out of the picture. For the next stage of his plan, Michael needs to put his cell-mate Sucre to the test to ensure his trustworthiness. However, Sucre wants to settle down with his fianc?e after he gets paroled and can't risk it by helping a prison break, so he requests a transfer. The new cell-mate, a murderer named Haywire, is far too unstable to be trusted. Veronica, meanwhile, starts looking deeper into Lincoln's case after she talks with Leticia, who disappears in the middle of giving her account of what happened. Lincoln's son, as part of the punishment for getting caught buying pot, begins visiting his father in jail. Michael and Lincoln decide to test the trustworthiness of Sucre, using a fake cell phone, to check whether he will rat Michael or not. John Abbruzzi is pressed by his mobster associate Philly Falzone and changes the approach with Michael, defending him against T-Bag. Meanwhile, Veronica calls off her wedding with Sebastian and seeks out Leticia to reopen Lincoln's case. LJ Burrows is sentenced to visit his father in Fox River once a week as part of his punishment.

The seat he chooses, unfortunately, belongs to white supremacist Teabag who takes away the bolt, refusing to return it unless Michael proves himself in an impending race riot. The problem is that his connection for Pugnac, the drug he uses to fake diabetes, is black and obviously won't help him if he fights with the supremacists. The mob boss John Abruzzi, meanwhile, is growing more impatient for the whereabouts of the informant Michael tracked down, and is threatening to take the information by force. On the outside, Veronica receives a videotape proving that Lincoln is guilty of his crime, but then receives word that a witness who could have testified on Lincoln's behalf was murdered before the trial. Michael tries to get a bolt in a bleacher but the seat belongs to the dangerous racist Theodore 'T-Bag' Bagwell that takes the bolt from him. Meanwhile Michael needs the drug Pugnac to fake diabetes to continue going to the infirmary as part of his escaping plan. However, his Afro-American contact sees him trying to retrieve the bolt with T-Bag and denies the drug to Michael. Michael also tries to convince Veronica Donovan that Lincoln is innocent, but when she sees a security tape delivered by the prosecutor showing Lincoln with a gun in the parking area, she questions his innocence.

He also hints that he has a plan of some sort, which involves pretending he has diabetes and going to the infirmary for insulin injections, dangling information about an informant in witness protection in front of a mob boss, and striking up a friendship with an elderly con rumored to be D.B.Cooper. Meanwhile, a bishop who may stand in the way of Michael's brother's execution is murdered in his bedroom. In Illinois, the structural engineer Michael Scofield tattoos his body, gets rid of papers in his office and botches a bank heist. Later he does not defend himself in the trial and is sentenced to the Fox River State Penitentiary, in Joliet. He befriends his cell mate Fernando Sucre and discloses that he is the brother of Lincoln Burrows, a man in the death row for murdering the president's brother but that swore to him that is innocent. Meanwhile, Bishop McMorrow that is a close friend of the governor and intends to claim for Lincoln's life is murdered in his bed during the night, indicating that political conspiracy is in course
